I am a… Woman. Educator. Advocate. Scholar. Researcher. Literature Maven. Lover of Words. Self-Proclaimed Cultural Anthropologist. World Traveler. Flawed Human. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Auntie. Mother. Wife.
Just a brief introduction into my crazy, hectic and sometimes loopy world and thoughts.
My name is Cynthia and I’ve been an educator for well over a decade. While the world of education is crazy enough, I decided to embark on the journey of teaching abroad and seeing the world in the process. And as if I didn’t have enough going on with those two things, I decided to bring my daughter along for the ride. Ha! Yes, it was scary, but my desire to travel and not go broke while doing it far outweighed any fear. I knew there was more out there and I wanted to experience it. So this blog is dedicated to all those who sit back and fantasize about what I’m doing. Believe it or not, it really isn’t that hard to get into teaching internationally and there are so many more options other than the Middle East (for some reason people think this is the only place to teach internationally).
Join me on my journey!
