Living in China…Again

After the traumatic experience that took place at my last school, I have to say my second experience in China has been a walk in the park thus far. Yes, people still stare, but it’s definitely not as bad as the first time. The fact that I am now married probably has a lot to do with that. Although, this time around, the kiddo is back stateside finding her way in this world as an adult.

In addition to being here with my love, the school is absolutely amazing this time around. Not only do I feel supported by admin, but there are plenty of opportunities for me to grow in my practice and to learn from people I respect and respect me as well.

But the biggest change of all is that I finally made the decision to get my doctorate and it has been totally amazing! I forgot how much I love learning content that I actually enjoy and I’m quite passionate and excited about my field of research. I haven’t quite figured out what will be next for me, but the beauty of getting older is that I’m comfortable not knowing exactly what’s next. I am simply enjoying this chapter and being present in every single moment.
